A Boutique Townhome Community on Burke Mountain in Coquitlam
Wesbild has launched sales for 35 new townhomes on Burke Mountain, offering family-sized homes starting at under $1 million in one of Coquitlam’s fastest growing communities.
Set beside a protected green belt and creek, the Towns at Burke is a limited collection of thoughtfully-designed townhomes that offers a rare opportunity for young professionals, families and downsizers to live in a neighbourhood with direct access to an extensive forest trail network, multi-use paths, parks, and amenities. The project also backs onto a future elementary school site, reinforcing its appeal for growing families seeking an exclusive community in a nature-oriented environment.
The Towns at Burke will feature seven contemporarily designed buildings with homes ranging from approximately 1,400 to 1,600 square feet. Homes are thoughtfully designed with spacious kitchens featuring ample counter space, large islands, and SMEG appliances. Oversized windows bring in natural light and open views, while large private outdoor spaces extend each home outdoors. All homes offer three-bedroom layouts. Select homes are priced under $1 million, qualifying for the full GST rebate.
“This project represents a significant milestone in Wesbild’s evolution from master planner to homebuilder on the mountain,” said Lilian Arishenkoff, Senior Vice President of Development at Wesbild. “Having played a foundational role in Burke Mountain since 1981, we are now bringing our home construction expertise to the Burke Mountain community, allowing us to more meaningfully shape complete, connected communities and neighborhoods.”
The development is part of the broader 900-acre Burke Mountain community where Wesbild has helped deliver sites for over 2,600 homes. In addition to residential development, Wesbild has contributed more than 30 acres of parkland, preserved 58 acres of environmental corridors, and developed critical infrastructure including trails, parks, and waterways.
Construction is already underway with the first homes being ready for occupancy in the Fall 2026.
According to a recent report by Rennie Intelligence and Angus Reid, the demand for ground-oriented living remains a powerful force in the market, with over half of all end-user buyers identifying townhomes as their preferred choice. The “sweet spot” is a three-bedroom family home, with a “notable appetite” for two bedroom townhomes as well.
Sales will launch for the Towns at Burke on June 13, with a full sales centre open on site.
